Using proprietary No-Shift coating processes that reduce the thermal drift coefficient to below 0.3 pm/°C, UOI has developed DWDM TFF filters that maintain stable spectrum response over the entire operating temperature range from 0 °C to 70 °C.

Packaged using proprietary hermetical sealing technologies, UOI's DWDMs conform to Telcordia requirements and offer competitive performance, including low insertion loss, wide passband of more than ± 0.08 nm (± 10 GHz) relative to the ITU grid, less than 0.5 dB ripple and less than 0.2 dB polarization dependent loss. They also have epoxy-free optical paths that can handle high optical power.

UOI’s DWDM products are extremely reliable solutions for long haul, submar
ine, metro, access and enterprise applications. Given the increasing demand for more bandwidth, they can also be used in future CATV fiber optic systems.
